The start time for the meet at Perry has been moved earlier in order to avoid the worst part of the weather. Field events will start at 2:45, and running events will begin at 3:00 pm. It is critical that our buses leave at 1:30 pm.

Athletes will be allowed to leave the meet but it needs to be with their parent or guardian.

Athletes will need to have their own warm-ups for today’s meet.

Athletes competing at Aztec are not traveling to the meet today (unless told differently by their coach) they should check teampages for their plan for today. https://www.teampages.com/teams/821445-Corona-del-Sol-Track-and-Field-track-and-field-team-website/pages/182407. If nothing is on their event plan they should check with their event coach.

Dual meet at Perry tomorrow!

Here is some information for tomorrow’s meet at Perry high school

The busses leave at 1:30 sharp from the Corona senior lot!

Athletes competing in The Aztec Invite are not going to Perry and they are expected to check the teampages workout area for their workouts tomorrow.

The weather is supposed to be rainy and windy, please be prepared. Also, please send Athletes with food and we will provide bottled water.

At the CAR WASH!!!

Athletes should have signed up with one of the coaches for their shifts. Shifts are 7:30am-10:00am, 9:30am-12:00pm, 11:00am-1:30pm.

Each athlete needs to bring their ticket money or any unsold tickets to their shift!

1-3 cases (40 pack of bottled water or similar, PLEASE DONT BRING JUGS OF WATER) needs to also be brought to the the athletes shift as well.

Bigs and Littles ceremony is today so athletes make sure you’re at practice.

Car Wash!

Please be advised, this is a Mandatory Event!

Athletes are expected to sell at least 10 car wash tickets and attend the car wash at 1 of 3 shifts. Athletes will signup for their shifts at practice on Wednesday.

The car wash will take place at Corona del Sol High School in the Rural Lot from 8:30 am -12:30 pm

Each athlete also needs to bring at least 1 case of bottled water for their shift on Saturday.

FUNDRAISING!!!!

Important fundraising reminders for all Athletes and Parents:

Fundraising for Track and Field is EXTREMELY important. Fundraising provides entry fees to meets, food and snacks for Athletes during meets, team t-shirts and gear, and many other items.

Every Athletes is expected to do their part!!!

All fundraising money is due on Tuesday February 28th!!!

Each Athlete on the CdS Track and Field team is expected to raise a total of $150 during the campaign. All fundraising money is due February 28th. There are 3 available options to reach this goal.
1.Each Athlete needs to sell at least $50 in car wash tickets. The tickets were handed out to the kids yesterday. Our annual car wash is Saturday February 25th. Attendance is mandatory for this event!
2. Parents, family members, friends, etc. can donate cash, check, or an online donation in the name of the Athlete. https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=TE8XRTZY38B7U
3. A tax credit donation of up to $200 per single parent and $400 per married couple, may be donated. A receipt should be provided to the Athletes and given to the head coaches to ensure proper credit is given. https://www.tempeunion.org/domain/72
Athletes can use a combination of these 3 methods to equal $150. However, ALL ALTHLETES are expected to sell at least $50 in Car Wash tickets.

This coming Saturday is our Parent’s Night Out!

Parent’s Night Out will be held on Feb. 25th from 5pm-7pm at Warehouse 215 located at 215 E Grant St. Phoenix, AZ 85006. This will be a great time to meet other parents, hang out with snacks and drinks, purchase raffle tickets for our fundraiser baskets and have a good time!
