Hi All!
We are only a few days away from the start of the 2023 T&F season at CdS.
The season officially starts this coming Monday, February 6th, 3pm at the CdS Track.
Please be advised; all athletes must be fully cleared on register my athlete in order to practice that day!
Also, all Winter sport Athletes are expected to finish their season with their team before they come out for Track and Field. We expect the same courtesy when finishing the Spring season with track. Athlete’s are expected to finish with us before they begin training with Fall sports at Corona. All Coaches at Corona are on board with this requirement!
Lastly, please consider buying new running shoes for the season. Injuries are lessened when good footwear is worn. Sprint spikes, jump spikes, throwing shoes, distance spikes, etc. are not required, but highly recommended!

FINAL WEEK OF PRESEASON AND UNIFORM INFORMATION!!!!
We are going into our final week of preseason training!! It’s hard to believe we are only 1 week away from the start of a new season!! For the final week, athletes will be competing in a Pentathlon consisting of a 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put, Mini Jav, and 1600m. New athletes will compete tomorrow 1/30 while returning athletes officiate the competition. On Wednesday we will switch and Returning athletes will compete while new athletes officiate. The practice may run a little late on these days so, please be patient with your athletes. Practice should be over by 5:20 pm.

UNIFORMS!!!!
We will have samples of uniforms available for athletes to try on prior to ordering them. They will be available to try on from 2:20 pm – 3:00 pm on Monday 1/30 and Wednesday 2/1. Those unable to make it at these times can use the sizing charts provided in the order form. https://forms.gle/e2vjoCYpQam9wMDx7. The uniform order will be placed at 11:00 pm on 2/1/2023. Anyone planning on purchasing a uniform must do so before this date and time. Athletes unable to purchase a uniform will still be issued a uniform by the school. This is purely optional and is not required for participation on the Corona del Sol Track and Field team.
Remember athletes must have all documents submitted and approved at 3:00 pm on 2/6 in order to be able to participate in that first day of practice .Please double check your www.registermyathlete.com and make sure all documents are submitted. *

Parent Meeting Information!!!
Thank you everyone for coming out to the parent meeting!! We had over 100 people at the meeting and is a great sign of things to come. For those who were unable to make the meeting, we want to make sure you have access to the same information we covered during the meeting. If you go to our homepage at http://coronatrack.teampages.com and look at the documents section you can find the presentation and an additional information sheet with important dates, schedule, and other information for the upcoming season.
