Hello Aztecs!

We will not have practice tomorrow due to the Varsity meet at Brophy.

We will practice this friday.

Then we will be off for spring break from saturday until tuesday with practice resuming next wednesday.

Practice times during spring break may vary depending on the event an athlete competes in. We will let you know start times as soon as we figure it out.

It’s time!!! The Aztec invite is 1 day away!!

We can still use your help to make this the best Aztec Invite ever. We are still short on volunteers for Lane Judges, Javelin, and Ticket Takers. Lane judges get a front-row seat to all the action and only have to be present in the races that are run around the curves. No need to bring your own seat; seats will be provided. This is a required position for our meet to count as a state-qualifying meet. So please help

All athletes competing tomorrow (except those picking up the pole vault pits) need to be in the team room at 2:55pm. Additionally, all athletes were instructed that meet setup may take until 5:30 pm -6:00 pm. Athletes should plan on staying until the setup is done for the meet.

Athletes not competing are required to be at the stadium at 7:30 am. Athletes that are in the first events starting at 8:30 am should also plan on being at the track ready to warm up by 7:30 am. All other athletes should be at the stadium at 8:00 am.

Reminder tomorrow’s dual will start at 2:00pm. For those of you who have never been to a high school dual meet the races will be run on a rolling schedule. This means that once a race finishes the next one will start. There’s no way of knowing for sure but we believe the meet should be over about 5:30pm or 6:00pm.

Students are released from class at 11:30am. Buses will leave at 12:00pm.

Athletes who didn’t receive a uniform today should wear Corona gear that they can compete in.

Athletes not competing should show up to practice at their normal time, a coach will be present to run practice.

Not only do we have an exciting week of meets, but we also have our Bigs and Littles ceremony on Monday and Tuesday.
