Next week

Posted by Brian Crane at Jan 28, 2019 12:53PM PST ( 0 Comments )

This week represents our last 3 days of track and field preseason. The student-athletes have done an awesome job during preseason and we are more than excited for the start of the regular season on Monday February 4th.

Next week practice will begin at 2:45 everyday. On Monday, we will have a meeting in the bleachers at the stadium. Practice should be finished between 5:15 and 5:30.

Please make sure that all student-athletes have completed all the necessary items on registermyathlete.com. This includes a physical that is required for all athletes to participate.

We will be handing out a team expectation and info sheet for all students and parents to sign and return to the coaches.

Please do not hesitate to email myself or coach Salazar if you have any further questions.

The track season is fast approaching and we have some upcoming events to mark on your calendars:

Kendra Scott Fundraiser at Chandler Mall
Get ready for Valentine’s Day by joining us on Saturday, February 9th from 10am to 1pm at the Kendra Scott jewelry store at the Chandler Mall. Corona Track & Field will receive 20% of all sales during that time frame. You can also place a phone order during that time and get free shipping to your home. Please help spread the word by telling your friends and family. Check out the attached invitation for more information.

Chipotle Fundraiser at Elliott location
Plan to dine out on Tuesday, February 12th at Chipotle on Elliott, between McClintock and the 101. Corona Track & Field will receive 33% of all sales, when you say you are supporting our team. Flyers will be emailed as we get closer to the event.

Goodwill Drive Fundraiser
Start cleaning out those closets and garages! We will be holding a Goodwill Donation Drive on Saturday, March 23rd. Our track team will receive a check from Goodwill based on the weight of our donation. Please let your neighbors and friends know so they can drop off their donations. More information will be coming later.

More Ways to Support the Team Year Round
There are additional ways to support our team with no out of pocket cost to you. Tax credit donations can be used for many of our needs throughout the season. We also participate in the Fry’s Community Rewards Program, Amazon Smile and Escrip Benefit Mobile. It takes just a few minutes of your time to sign up and we can earn money from your purchases year round. Please go to our website www.coronatrack.teampages.com and look under the “Fundraising” tab for more information.

Thank you for your support!!

Sponsors Needed!!

Posted by Corona del Sol Track and Field at Jan 11, 2019 9:50AM PST

We need your help to reach potential sponsors for our amazing track and field team! Please take a moment to think of any business contacts you might have who would like to sponsor – doctors, dentists, insurance agents, restaurants… We have various levels of sponsorship from $50 to $750. Sponsors receive ads in our team program, their logo on our website and parent handouts and thank you posts on our Facebook page. The top two tier sponsors will receive a full color banner displayed at the track throughout the season.

The sponsor information is attached so that you can print it out or email it to a business. If you have any questions, please contact us at aztrackboosters@gmail.com. Thank you for your help!

We apologize for the late notice, but there is a booster club meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3:30pm at the Fry’s Starbucks at Ray and Rural. Any parents who are interested in helping out this season are invited. If you have any questions, please email us at aztrackboosters@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
